Yr 2's Field Trip To The London Wetlands Centre...
Miss Burrow's and Miss Loxton's class left for the Wetlands Centre at 9.00am in the coach. Once everyone arrived, the pupils split into their designated groups and, armed with their work booklets, set off around the centre . Everyone had the opportunity to wander around the Centre absorbing the surroundings and talking about all the different birds and other wildlife they could see. At 12.30pm everyone met up to have lunch, having a chance to catch up on what they had been up to in the morning. Once everyone was all refreshed after a good meal, they set off again to continue their work booklet and take time to wonder through the Visitor Centre and sit in the bird hut and spy on the birds.
At 2.30pm 50 very tired children met up in the car park to be taken back to school on the coach.
It was an extremely successful day enjoyed by everyone involved!
